GABE CHOATE

SINGER / SONGWRITER / TEXAS ARTIST

Gabe Choate  was born and raised in Graham Tx. 

He found his love of music at an early age from listening to his Pop ( grandfather ) play harmonica and make up little songs.  

Gabe got his start in the music business in the 90s, playing in the grunge band “ No Such Animal “. In Austin , Tx.

 They released a handful of songs including “ Brother “ and “ Savage Garden “.  

Gabe soon realized the strong roots of country music calling him. 

 He returned to north central Texas and formed the band “ Salt Creek “. 

They, quickly, recorded a handful of songs and scored opening gigs for bands like; Cross Canadian Ragweed , Cooder Graw , Jason Boland and others.  

Gabe has also played in, the classic rock band “ 3 blind mice “ and country cover band “ Stepping South “.  

After stints in these bands he decided he wanted to pursue his love of songwriting, and set out writing songs of his life story.

These songs included his personal journey thru depression, alcohol abuse and failed marriages.  

Gabe's songs have a heart felt message with plenty of gritty texture .

Gabe is currently recording a full length album at Loose Cannon Studios. 

And, he is also recording, a 4 song EP. 

Gabe is working with famed Nashville producer Dean Miller.  

Along with, the guitar work of hall of fame guitarist, Brent Mason. 

Gabe Choate currently has 2 singles out: Shaman and Rundown Blues.  

Gabe Choate Music is currently booking solo and duet shows .
